Happy 50th Everyone!!
Greetings, friends:
I am saddened deeply that I will not be able to celebrate this wonderful weekend with you. However, many of you know that my mother was just diagnosed with stomach cancer and is still in the hospital. As I sit by her bedside, I am reassured that this is exactly where I should be even though I will miss being with you.
Have a wonderful time, my friends. You are all amazing folks. Some of us have known each other as far back as Merry-Day Kindergarten, or Agnes McReynolds, or AV Clubbs Jr. High. These friendships that we have made during our younger years have grown into a deep bond that will never be broken.
As you enjoy this weekend together, be sure to tell each other how much they mean to you...hold close in your hearts all of our friends who have completed their earthly journeys. Rejoice in those fond memories and know that who we are today was greatly influenced by their presence here.
I would like to share one of my favorite scriptures with you; John 15: 12-13: “This is my commandment that you love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends…”
Have a wonderful weekend together, my friends, and may God richly bless each one of you.

Many Blessings to you all,
